|Status||closed||Resolution||no change required|
|Product Version||YaCy 1.8|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0000621: Language searches like /no don't work, stop word exclusion also don't work|
|Description||" more options..." on front page story is "/language/<lang> prefer given language (an ISO639 2-letter code)" so I tried:|
henrik ibsen /no
The results come back with:
"The following words are stop-words and had been excluded from the search: [no]."
But as the search results show, "no" is included as a search-term. Trying other search-terms with the language switch like "know yuri /no" also does not give expected results.
Apparently YaCy doesn't handle /language, nor does it handle excluding stop-words.
|Additional Information||Unrelated, a reminder of why YaCy is increasingly important, specially to us behind the iron curtain of the Fascist Union:|
"We must do more to reduce the immense volume of material that is online and so easily accessible to our citizens."

For language filtering, what you have to enter this :
henrik ibsen /language/no
But yes the stop-word appears not to be excluded as it should.
see feedback/note from @luc regarding the language parameter.
Additionally language filter was hardened in v1.83/9585
